4. You have to have a powerful enough and effective enough military to deter aggression by the World's would-be conquerors or stop their violence. And you have to field that power ensemble in fearful potency every day or you automatically lose.

Try suggesting a reduction in the size of our military on heavily populated Democrat forums.

Did you watch any of the countless videos and photos of the insurrectionists pushing past the guard rails, smashing windows at the capitol to gain entry, and raiding office once inside?
