Perhaps you misunderstood what I said:

Yes, when a terrorist hits you from a civilian area it IS fine to strike back at the terrorist as long as you take precautions to protect the civilians who live there. That is what the Jews do. They get hit by terrorists, then they destroy the weapons making plant (or whatever the target it) but they protect the lives of the civilians by announcing the strike first. It means that the terrorist get away with their lives but it does protect the civilians.

Does Israel have any terrorists for the Palestinians to launch missiles at? They have soldiers. Do the Palestinians launch missiles at soldiers?

what about people building homes on your land...backed by the army...with no legal recourse to stop them....do you just keep saying please dont? no you do what anyone would do if some other people where taking your land ...you fight back. As far as I am concerned anyone ( adult)building outside the Area designated by the UN as Israel ...is Fair game.

You have a right to defend yourself against the actual people who are killing you while they are doing it. Not later and not against their neighbors. You have a right to fight against soldiers but not civilians.

So, as has been done for centuries, when an army comes and takes the land from one country then uses it for themselves, that is simply called conquest, and the losers lose. When your side first attacked the opposing army and then they happened to win we call that poetic justice. The Palestinians backed the wrong horse when Egypt attacked Israel and they lost.

But do the Palestinians have no legal recourse? From your source:

the goverment says it will...but often does not, and keeps pushing for more to be built...thats not a legal system..thats legal cover.

There land is occupied...and they have the right to take it back...and since Israel over and over has not only not prevented it, but rather encouraged it...there words ring hollow...Move all settlements out of occupied territory...until then, if you choose to live in occupied territory...you choose to be a target.
