"Post-traumatic stress patients experience symptom improvements following the use of medical cannabis products, according to observational data published in the journal Medical Cannabis and Cannabinoids.

A team of investigators affiliated with the University of Florida at Gainesville assessed cannabis’ efficacy in a cohort of 15 patients with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Participants in the study possessed a physician’s authorization to access medical cannabis products from state-licensed dispensaries. Study subjects were assessed at baseline and then again 30 days and 70 days later. Patients in the study typically used THC-dominant herbal cannabis.

Researchers reported significant improvements in patients’ symptoms following cannabis therapy, including
improvements in sleep quality and overall mental health. Participants also experienced fewer nightmares."

"Adult-use cannabis sales in Rhode Island have increased steadily each month since the state launched its recreational program one year ago, but medical marijuana sales declined.

The
adult-use total includes $7.1 Million in sales in October, up from $7 Million in September, The Providence Journal reported."

"Colorado marijuana dispensaries are allowed to offer drive-thru sales, believe it or not, but only a short list of stores kept their windows open after the pandemic's looser rules ended and permits for such sales were suddenly required. A few dispensaries still offer such a convenience, however, enabling late-night or post-airport weed runs without having to leave the comfort of your car."

"Bipartisan legislation that would remove state-legal marijuana from the federal Controlled Substances Act and leave individual markets in charge of most other regulation was reintroduced in Congress on Thursday.

Originally introduced in 2019 in both the House and the Senate, the latest Strengthening the Tenth Amendment Through Entrusting States (STATES) Act goes a step further than the ongoing federal rescheduling review."

Legalization of harmful drugs. That has to be a Democrat policy favorite.
