Jefferson did not insert acceptance of slavery, slavery was an established custom. And the the Constitution accepted most of the colonial legal system. including slavery. The Constitution banned depriving residents of property or liberty without due process. Slaves were property.

Jefferson made his religious beliefs quite clear: he was not a typical Christian at all.

Hundreds of Bible-believing Christians openly opposed slasvery in the US from the beginning. Did slaves in early America hate the white Chrisatians fighting for their freedom? No, not the sensible slaves in those early days, but modern blacks are being programmed by leftists to hate white Christians and to unjustly accuse them of being racists without evidence.
