They’re not. The Young Turks just did a report on this. The polls are dropping for her just enough for great concern. She’s doing all the wrong things. Listening to people like Mark Cuban who wants to oust Lina Khan and gleefully accepting the Cheneys endorsements like a schoolgirl. And many more things that are very establishment that do not sit well with the base. We want to win but we don’t want the democrats becoming right wing or even center right to win. Selena was shot almost 30 years ago!

Example: I recall al Sharpton from years ago. He was a loud mouth a hoodlum. i hated him. But over several defaces he lost weight, and changed his ways. He is actually a very astute and intelligent guy. Is now respected by the black community and dems. I think he speaks well and makes good remarks and is a positive force now. I believe he does a lot of good for the black community. We should be forgiving when people try to improve themselves.

I do not know if stern has actually changed or repented but if he has he should be given another chance.

What was wrong with Howard Stern's comments about Salena?

1. Insensitive. This was a 23 year old girl who was murdered! She did nothing wrong. She confronted her fan club president in a motel room who was stealing money. The bitch pulled out a gun and Salena ran for the door and got shot in the back. By the time she made it to the lobby she had bled to death because the bullet pierced a major artery.

She was loved by millions! She performed with her whole family. Her dad managed them. There is nothing to joke about.

2. Ignorant. Howard called her a "Mexican Madonna" over and over again. In reference to the singer of course. There is nothing about Salena's style or music that in any way apes Madonna.

He also kept making jokes as if she was from some third world country. She is from Corpus Christi Texas! She did not even speak fluent Spanish when she first started singing that type of music.

3. Cultural bigotry. Howard the hero libtard said that her music was shit and that Mexicans and Mexican Americans have a shit taste in music.

Personally I think apologies are overhyped. I am satisfied with explicit admission of wrongdoing. I do not know if Sharon has explicitly admitted to wrongdoing but he has certainly done so implicitly.

What is most important to me is that he is a positive force now.
