If a "third" party had a complete platform on every issue just like the main two parties, then that party would have more of a chance of attracting a major following.

When a truly complete party, one that balances both security and freedom dynamically, that respects the foundational right to life, and that advocates true progress without surrendering the good we now have ... then you will see that "third" party actually take over from the other two.

With regard to libertarianism, it is merely based on the dysfunction of indiviualism and a worship of the Money System at the expense of societal ethics and morality.

Because we are moving away from dysfunction and toward health, such a political philosophy is extinctly headed in Barney's direction.

I think when you start being anti-choice you lose any chance at a third party platform. When you split that off you're really just the neo-con far right wing of the old Republican Party. I think what you describe is really just that... an extreme wing version of an already established Party.

I really wish you'd stop lying. Libertarianism is based on the fact that every individual on earth has an innate right to engage in any peaceful, honest, voluntary activity that he or she chooses. Government only steps in if someone uses force, fraud or coercion against another innocent individual.

Libertarians are presently on the ballot in every state. They are not prevented from running.
They are rarely elected because people do not vote for them.

The Republican Party has no official platform as you claim and has had none for most of this century. The Libertarians have a detailed platform and you can find out all about it online.
Typically, Libertarians have managed to get around 1 to 2% of the vote for president. In 2016 they got about 3.3%. In 2020, they got about half that. Other third parties have polled lower in recent years.
