Lots of stories like this one being reported. Yet many liberals think Obamacare is great.

When will someone in the media or academia do the research needed to determine the full impact on employment by this terrible act? It no doubt has and will cause great harm.

Lets see now...people put out of work because of Obamacare can get free HC thanks to Obamacare. Makes sense to the mindless liberal.

Real unemployment rates in many sectors of the economy, many inner cities, and among the young is at Great Depression levels. If an R was in office, the media would be endless reporting it...but since a D is there, no worries.

all valid points of course but you have overlooked a very significant one in this example. this not for profit poster child of the obamacare scam of how you "do" healthcare on the cheap is having to cut 330 million in expenses to survive obamacare which equals many fewer medicos to attempt to treat all these "new" patients. more people, fewer resources, fewer taxpayers all equal degraded healthcare with much less revenue to try and pay for it all. predictable and predicted. #trainwreck

Every major government program instituted by progressives has been or will soon be, terrible failures. From the income tax and Federal Reserve imposed by Wilson to FDR's many failed New Deal programs including social security...to LBJ's Great Society programs...all statist progressive programs and all failures by any objective analysis....to say nothing of the numerous other progressive welfare/socialist programs (or expansion of already existing programs) instituted by many other presidents since Wilson.

Yet some Americans still believe big statist socialist programs are effective. They have been brainwashed to think anyone who criticizes these failed programs wants the poor to die...CRAZY.

The frightening probability that there will be a doctor shortage could wreak much more pain on the American public than the cost. The workload of every doctor will increase, and there will be fewer doctors as a percent of the population. There will be long waits to see a doctor. Eventually, access to healthcare will be rationed by some government panel, deciding who gets care first, and who may not be worth the time and expense. One of the things I heard being discussed about this plan, (and I don't know if it's true) is that when you make an appointment, you can only be seen for that one problem, you can't bring a list of other issues your having. Otherwise, you have to make another appointment.

I think that's how it's done in Europe.

Obamacare: One blow after another

The Obamacare that consumers will finally be able to sign up for next week is a long way from the health plan President Barack Obama first pitched to the nation.

Millions of low-income Americans won’t receive coverage. Many workers at small businesses won’t get a choice of insurance plans right away.
