I am pretty sure Mueller admitted he did not look into the Seth Rich possibility of transferring DNC emails to Assange and instead focused on lies perpetrated by Democrats and Russians claiming Trump has something to do with it. Thankfully, after 3 years and tens of millions of dollars Mueller discovered what Fox News had been reporting all along - Trump had nothing to do with it.

There is definitely something fishy going on here. First the FBI claimed it did not know who killed Seth Rich or why and then claimed it did not have his computer. When forced to admit it had Rich's computer years later by court order which directed the FBI to release the data it had gathered from the computer the FBI said it would take decades to release the data practically one page at a time to indefinitely delay obeying the court order. That is not transparency and justice, that is obfuscation and cover up.

If Mueller had proven, on the other hand, that Russians and only Russians were involved, that would give the argument against the Rich connection some support. But Mueller did not prove that at all. In fact Mueller avoided entering into courtrooms to try his case in front of a judge and jury because he knew his case was bogus, as proven by CrowdStrike's testimony that nobody knew how the emails were exfiltrated or who might have done it.
