I can remember when gas cost a quarter a gallon. You drove into a service station, not a gas station, and had your car serviced, including checking the oil, the tires, the radiator, and filling the tank. When they were done, you handed the service guy a $5 bill, and he gave you back change.
Of course, that was sixty years ago, and not likely to ever come back again.
There's no use longing for the past or pretending that modern problems don't exist. Sorry, guys, but global warming is quite real even though you may not want to believe in it. Every scientific organization on Earth says it is real.
