does saying you can have guns in there prevent it? no.

It certainly doesn't prevent it but it does give you the opportunity to legally defend yourself should such a situation occur.

Does having more people in the building with guns make it more likely someone will use one? Yes

People without a CCW license are 5.5-5.7 times more likely to commit a violent crime than CCW holders.
