I would agree with you however. I have an uncle who was/is part of the Tea Party movement and I asked him that what would you do if the other side showed to protest you guys and he told me straight up. "They'll get shot at" I was like OK?!? are you serious I mean I know the man is crazy but it's people like my uncle and I'm sure they're a small percentage out there who believe in that sort of thing. It makes no sense so when I see both sides doing this I just shake my head because these are the same people who preach about the constitution this and the constitution that but God forbid you disagree with them and God help you if you do. Hell if Thomas Jefferson was alive today lord knows how many people would be calling him a Communist or a Nazi.

the Right Assinates Dr's , blows up Federal Buildings....

I would agree with you however. BUT some union thug came to a tea party and ended up beating up a guy who was giving out dont tread on me flags, the tea party guy ended up in the hospital

and in another case a tea party member got his finger bitten off by a union thug crashing the tea parties.

The only violence I know of during any of protests were when the obama supporters came to crash the parties and either bit fingers off of tea party members or beat them up and stuck them in the hospital.

ok im going back to the subject. I dont think federal workers are targets. But because acorn is so hated I think census workers might be targeted more so for flat tires and being spit on though.

if the news can report a little more often that acron was fired from the census maybe the workers will be more safe.

It is the nature of "terrorism" to attack targets that are symbols of what they are angry at because the thing (entity) that is the focus of their anger is beyond their grasp. For instance, the World Trade Center was not the object that the terrorists were angry at, it was the U.S. government. However, the government was something out of their reach. Also, consider that Timothy McViegh was angry at the U.S. government over what happened at Ruby Ridge. But because the U.S. government is a nebulous target out of reach, attacked a symbol of it in the form of the Federal building in Oklahoma City, killing people who had nothing to do with the government.
Therefore, given the nature of terrorists to irrationally attack symbolic targets, government employees are likely to be attacked in the future. It is not fair. It is not right. It is how it is.

It is pointless to "... give them an ear full...", inasmuch as they are employees with no power to change anything, or the mechanism to report popular protests to the people who have the power to effect a change. Therefore, it is irrational to vent anger at those people who are just doing a job. An adult would know this; not having to be told. Do you not have some homework to do?

The problem with all of this is our two party system. It does not work anymore. I see these Republicans jumping on the band wagon of the tea party like it was their idea and pretending that their party is so devoid of corruption and irresponsible spending when in fact the federal government grew faster then one can remember when Bush was in the white house and they had control of congress. The Democrats well hell at least they tell you what their about even though it is never good for the country half the time, but like I said this two party system has constantly failed time and time again. You know I would like to remind people in this country that the government of the united states are the people of this country. It is not some lone entity that just decided every 2, 4, and 6 years to elect itself the same bureaucrats in congress and in the white house. If we are so serious and fed up with our government then it is real time to throw all of them out starting at the local level and working our way to the federal level. Put republicans and democrats on notice and completely ban these two parties from government work period! I don't care anymore about their so called constitution rights to freedom of speech and so forth with their lobbyist and interests groups. I mean who are the lobbyist for the people of America? Who are the interests groups for us? It's not Wall street or the unions or the corporations or any particular group what so ever and even though they claim that they have our best interests at heart that's a God Damn lie and they know but alas we the people are gullible and we believe them. Well maybe we are getting what we deserve and if some of you out there are tired of it your wasting your time. We won't do anything but go the polls and pull the lever and vote and then feel good about ourselves when we get home. That is a joke right there! Voting does not work anymore and now the talk of Civil War and armed militias showing up at Town hall meetings. OK....uhh whatever. I would like to here from these groups what their plan is for our country if they even win their war and also how would they explain to the rest of the world that they are no threat but pissed off patriots who just got tired of it here in America. Well all I can say is good luck. I'm pissed off too but I maybe I'm like the rest of you just beating a dead horse here.
