Americans are not obliged to support "Christian views", and of course Christians do not agree on what proper Christian views are.
Most denominations claim to agree on the Nicene Creed.

Of course, part of the Nicene Creed states that nearly every person who has ever died is still dead, awaiting to be judged by Jesus when he finally gets around to returning for a second time.

The reality seems to be that when we die, our soul immediately floats up to Heaven where it meets St. Peter who decides where to send it. Most of the time Americans say stuff like "well, we know he's in a better place now". And that is NOT what the Bible or the Nicene Creed says.

What the Biblical character called "God" did to Adam and Eve was not moral.
It was not moral to turn Lot's wife into a pillar of salt just for looking at Gomorrah.
It was not moral to confuse the languages of the people at the Tower of Babel: speaking different languages causes confusion and disharmony.
It was not moral to condemn all of Ham's descendants because Ham peeked at his drunken father's schlong.
What God did to Job was immoral.
If God knows everything then he knows the future.
If God knew that Adam and Eve would screw up, that the Hebrews would be enslaved in Egypt, that drowning everyone but Noah and his family would not make people more perfect, then why bother to do it?

Nobody brought Seth Rich's murderer to justice. Nobody allowed Lee Harvey Oswald or Matthew Crooks to testify about what they knew. JFK's murderer was never uncovered but Oswald was dishonestly made the scapegoat patsy set up by the reall killers.
