I've read the story and there is one clear difference...Edwards isn't running for anything. Had Edwards secured the nomination it would have the same relevance as McCain's infidelity but since he didn't it's of little or no consequence except to his family.
That is proving to me what I had said.
If a republican does it the republican voters shun it, if a dem does it the dem voters excuse it.
He has twice run for president with your party. Was talked about being a vp for Obama or at least a cab. lev. pos.
You have been critical of any repub, if they are running for something or not, if they are sitting in the position or not, if they are retired....
but here was a good chance to say what Edwards did was sleazy and maybe its good that he did not get the nom. but instead you made an excuse for him.
that is typical dem way of doing things.
What he did sucked, for his family, the poor kid he denied was his but now admits is his.
and our country...
equally as sucky as when a repub does it. its not ok just because there is a political D behind your name
