Of course to Progs like you... Its not even a matter of right and wrong when a Dem is involved because Progs have no morality, no standards, no ethics, and by standing for nothing, you can't be called a hypocrit for violating things you don't stand for. By standing for nothing, you think you can stand in judgement over those who proudly declare they stand for something but fall short of perfection. By standing for nothing, you insist that those with standards have no right to be judgemental towards those with none, because you and your fellow Progs, who stand for nothing, will not denounce each other for failing to live up to a standard that no one has set or even attempts to live by.
I'm surprised to see you admit that 'for political reasons' you would not bring up such a scandal involving a Democrat... That's probably the only honest statement I've ever seen you make.
You then go onto say that if it were a Dem, and it were brought up, you'd say the guy was WRONG. The fact that you were silent on Edwards cheating on his cancer ridden wife aside, your very next sentence is:

You and the other Progs think Americans are tired of Conservatives and tired of Republicans... Americans are tired of the political games Progs like you are so keen on playing. Americans are tired of Republicans denouncing Democrats while making themselves out to be angels and vice versa. Both parties have become corrupt, both exist for the aggrandisement of the party, not for the best interests of the country. Americans recognize that both parties have individuals that do not live up to the standards they live their own lives by and they know its high past time there be one standard by which both parties, and all Americans, are held to account.
This Republican's political carreer is over, as it should be. John Edwards carreer has been quietly swept under the radar but its not over. The Dems will eventually drag him, and his $600 haircuts, back out on the campaign trail because they, like Edwards, have no standards.

"This morning, Attorney General Eric Holder testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee. Ranking member Jeff Sessions (R-AL) slammed the Justice Department’s release of Bush-era memos authorizing the use of torture on terrorist suspects, telling Holder that his “predecessor, Judge Mukasey, and Mr. Hayden,” the former Director of National Intelligence, “didn’t approve of that at all.” Holder reminded Sessions that Mukasey and Hayden were no longer in charge.
Maybe they're runnin' your show, because you need assistance to have a show at all. I'm runnin' mine, no matter who is in the White House. It's called livin' the American dream dear, the one that was available to you, and CERTAINLY not because of your ability, but apparently you didn't have what it took to achieve it even having it handed to you. Whose fault is that Shaman?....'Cause, WE'RE runnin'-the-show, now!!!!!
can I attack the Hypocrit? you cant say I did not attack Edwards for his, I was very pissed and disapointed. I worked for Edwards for a short time.

Bododie beat me to it...Progressives stand for human rights, and a kind of freedom, that you deny, GenSeneca.
You got that right...But only for those who support THEIR views.
I value an individuals right to property because I value individual liberty. I wrote about the value socialism places on people and property in my Blog and Thread, both titled: Socialism is EvilYou value property rights more than people.
Property is anything you possess of value to others and the only value Socialism places on you, is based on your ability to contribute Value to the Collective. Whether its your intelligence, labor or physical holdings, all is deemed property of the Collective and subject to their whims.
Socialism teaches that Private Property is slavery, and agitates for the lower 4/5ths of society to dissolve Private Property rights with the promise of obtaining property from the top 5th... Only to find, once having done so, that the top 1% is now the ruling class and above sacrifice for the Collective they rule.
By trying to sacrifice the rights of the top 5th for the Common Good, the bottom 4/5ths sacrifice themselves to slavery at the hands of the superior ruling class, who's rights they sought to destroy. Now slaves to the Common Good - defined for them by their rulers - individuals have no rights and no value beyond what their superiors dictate.
As I recall, studies of income have shown that liberals, on avarage, make more money than conservatives.
Those liberals with money don't want anything to do with Shaman's ilk either. It's HIS personal attitude. Until he admits personal responsibility for his situation and life, he commands no respect.
I don’t think republicans ever claimed to be perfect, knowing what good family values are and doing them are two different things.
