Okay libs your weekly assignment is to listen to Rush Limbaugh one hour each day. You will need to do this in secret or risk losing ALL your friends and being uninvited to all those drunken, illegal drug & ogre parties. Since conservatives have endured total dominance of the media and academia by liberals, we need to socialize information sources. And we all know how much you love socialism.

Let me warn you, at first you will experience a level of dread unknown even you and you may want to shoot yourself (but since you fear guns for this very reason and don't own one, no worries). So hang in there. Your entire belief system will be debunked and if you are young, all those wonderful Utopian stories about Soviet, Cuban, and Chinese communism will be obliterated. In the end, I you will be uplifted and your totalitarian chains lifted from your shoulders.

If you expect to be accurately informed then the first step is to understand the difference between news and entertainment. Entertainment can be informative but it is not the same as news. What Rush does is entertainment that informs.
What the MSM does is pretend to be news while providing entertainment and propaganda. The news needs to be held to a higher standard and it is failing miserably.

Politicans are politicans and craving power they also tend to crave the ilicit perks that go with it. We should evaluate their behavior and oust them if need be.

According to these links both conventions result in increased prostitution (though one can't know if it is the politicians or the million other people that come to town to provide catering and other services for the conventions) but the Democratic conventions result in more prostitution.

This one says that neither result in more prostitution in NY and Boston:

This one says that there is a spike at both conventions:

Between NPR/MSNBC/CNN/ABC...I think that I get a well rounded view of the actual news Granted, it ain't like dearly departed Walter Cronkite and "that's the way it was" but we've allowed our talking heads to become entertainers/botoxed pretty boys & girls instead of those old crusty curmudgeons that just told us the how/what/why of the events!

Media bias has been discussed many times on these forums. Virtually no one bothers to claim that NBC/ABC/NPR/ CNN are not liberally biased anymore because it is well known. It is as well known that they are liberal as it is well known that FOX is conservative.
