Unfortunately doctors are required to report all sorts of data about their patients on a pretty constant basis. Race, communicable diseases, illegal activities, being shot, the list has been long for a long time but with the enaction of obamacare the number of things being reported has grown by quite a lot and the compilation of that data and shareing of that data has grown too.

It would help, but normal people sometimes get nasty, drunk, viciously angry and so on as a result of life's vicisitudes, and if they have guns available they are much more likely to kill.

Obviously since the mentally ill use handguns to commit crimes if the solution is to remove their first amendment rights then the logical step even before taking guns from the mentally is would be to ban black Americans from owning guns. Anyone got a problem with that?
