Ummm, guys, Sandy isn't that big

Lay off Romney--he spent a couple of years doing Missionary Work whilst Obama was doing crack in the 'hood.
Ever get the impression democrats see the end of Obama is coming in less than 48 hours?

"Missionary work!" Visiting Paris and dropping in on high society people in private hotels in Paris!

Funny though, I was living in Versaille at about that time, and I clearly remember having two young American Mormons visiting me to "tell me about their mission." I remember they were both quite handsome and "clean cut," and one in particular was very handsome. . .just a few years younger than I was too (I was a young bride and mother of 25).

There is NO WAY I can know for sure that one of those guys (the most handsome one) was Romney, but it was exactly the same "type," and I certainly wouldn't be surprise if it was.

They came TWICE, and never again. I served them cookies and cake and mild (I offered coffee. . .not knowing that they didn't drink coffee). It was a fun way to spend a couple of hours. . .each time. They didn't have ANY answers to my rebuttal about what they were trying to "establish" about religion.

It was fun, though. . .and trust me. . .these young "devoted missionaries" had a LOT of fun in Paris! Kind of a all expenses paid trip to the most beautiful city in the world. . .

So sad that "missionaries" should suffer so much, don't you think so? LOL

You must be going through some tough personal difficulties at this time.
I suggest some readings of Sister Mary Ignatius.

No. . .no difficulties! I'm tired of the election crap. . .but other than that, no problem!

And it will all be over by Tuesday night. . .even if the final "answer" takes a few days, or a few weeks.

Either way, the Extreme Right loses.

That's enough to make any outcome acceptable to me!

You have the misfortune of living in what is--without any shadow of a doubt--a rigid center-RIGHT Christian nation.
You might want to re-consider returning to Gaul.

Actually, I wouldn't like ANYTHING better than going back to "Gaul!" You know what Cesar said about my countrymen's ancestor, right?
"Among all people in Gaul, the Belgians are the bravest!"

Yes, I am very proud of my forefathers and of my little country.

And I'll be back there as soon as I can!

Bon Voyage!
Please send me some nice Roquefort cheese from the caves.
And a bag of croissants.

I'll let you know personally when I am ready to leave. . .
But, just in case you don't realize it, I can just as well post from Belgium (or France, or Italy, or Great Britain, or China) than I can from South Carolina. . .
And. . .Roquefort is NOT Belgian's specialty. . .
Don't you know? It's CHOCOLAT. .

Earthquakes are nasty

New Orleans--was built in the WRONG PLACE.
It will flood--every so often--no matter how many gazillions you spend.
Historical Inevitability. Guaranteed.
Don't think so?
Go there--and walk way up the steps--way up--to see the Mississippi River--above St. Mark's Cathedral in Jackson Square.
The whole damn town is below sea level. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Orleans

Seems to work just find in the SOCIALIST country of Nederland! In fact, they gained miles of land that they reclaimed from the sea, in spite of huge tides.

All it takes are effective engineering and seawalls. . .and, OBVIOUSLY, GOVERNMENT investment in a mixed Governemnt/private sector venture!

Those "Socialist countries" are all wrong, aren't they! LOL!

So how many hurricanes have slammed into Belgium?

I would be delighted to see your opinions from anywhere earthly.
South Carolina--such a lovely place.
Clemson? That IS the hub of liberalism, thereabouts.

I'm hip.
It comes from the caves in France--hence the name.
Thought you were headed back to France.

Why do you "soil yourself " living in the hell-hole of America?
Flights leave daily.
