You know that the point was not that they were white, but that they were ALL white.
See the difference? No? The audience was hardly a demographic sampling of real America. It was a racial group meeting, I fear, with a racial agenda. And that wasn't expressed then but implied by the camera shots and the visible vacuum of minorities in the audience. Could it be that there are no minorities in the GOP? No. Then why weren't they there? Not invited?
Heil McCain/Palin!
Actually, I personally know of a few racial minorities who are going to vote republican.
Also, can you prove there were not minorities there? I wager not.
Further, tickets to the last McCain rally were widely available to everyone. So the 'not invited' garbage is the most lame thing I've ever heard.
Finely, maybe you don't understand this if you are white, but for some minorities to go to a republican rally, is a massive target to the cruel heartless left. Look at what the left did to Clarence Thomas? You have no idea what stigma the left places on those who dare to set foot off the plantation of liberal ignorance. They are called Uncle Toms, and not really black, and traitors for daring to think outside the racial box.
Maybe the reason they didn't go to the rally, was not because they didn't support McCain or Palin, but because they didn't want deal with the hate and viciousness of their liberal friends and family.
I personally know of one man who refuses to talk about politics ever, because he's a conservative, and it would cause havoc in his family and friends.
Don't get me wrong, the majority are liberal, and obviously since they tend to receive special treatment. But it has little to do with any racism on the leaderships part. If I saw anything that showed some indication that McCain was racist, he'd lose my vote.
