Did Obama really have gay sex and smoked crack in a Limo?

I do not think Obama ever gave oral sex to Sinclair. Sinclair said that he himself gave oral sex to obama but never the other way around. And I do not think Sinclair was a male prostitute. I think it was just sex for sex sake.

Ouch! :p

You got it. Singing blind praises of an unvetted candidate, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU READ THE SINCLAIR ISSUE, with all there is to lose in that blindness...

It's just stupid and dangerous really when you consider the implications of someone as wet behind the ears as Obama trying to "hope" his way through a conflict with Russia, just for one instance, let alone crunching the real numbers of getting the economy back on line and locking horns with BigOil. These are all things the next president will have to do. And Obama is like a babe in the hopeful woods when it comes to those three nasty bears.

Clinton and her husband had a mutually respectful relationship with Russia. They rescued the economy to run in the black when they were in. Judging by Hillary's tenacity, wrangling BigOil will just be another day at the office.

This a job position we're interviewing for here, not some Hollywood popularity show. It is a CRITICALLY IMPORTANT job we're vetting two candidates for. One is experienced and has had her closet open and aired out for some time now. The other is sensational but lacking experience and worse, touting "hope" as his only qualification on his resume; while his tightly shut closet is stinking to high heaven.. Tackling the nasty three bears of the next administration is not in his bag of tricks. Any company who hired the latter over the former should be sued by its stockholders for gross negligence.

And believe me you, we're keeping tabs on who votes for practicality vs who votes for reasons of cult of personality....without even bothering to look deeper than skin color..

The Sinclair issue is going to get no traction. Discussing this will not change the election outcome.

Likewise pointing out the meaninglessness of the "hope" phrase will also get no traction and will not change the election outcome. People who follow O know that there is meaning behind the "hope". It is a codeword for all the stuff that he does believe in but is crafty enough to couch in terms that will not be offensive to mainstream America - namely socialism.

So when I say that we should not be talking about the sinclair issue but talking about his socialism the fact that I used the words "sinclair issue" in this sentence tells us that it is relevant to this thread.

Starting a woes of socialism thread is a good idea but sadly it too won't get any traction. Accurately portraying O as a socialist over and over again whenever the opportunity arises might.

Almost 300 posts into a thread that has dwindled away from the topic long ago is no crime but missing the opportunity to inform people about O's socialism is.

Edit: actually as an afterthought you have inspired me. The thread that is needed should be more along the lines of "The hope in socialism"

I think there is room to talk about both socialism and this sinclair story.

everyone said that Obama's church would get no traction
everyone (that I talked to about it) said edwards affair would get no traction

but both did, and this may...

if it does not then it does not, but people have a right to know what is out there.

though I agree Obama's socialism should be talked about and often, just in a differnt thread

Hey, that's the exact same thing, almost verbatum that they were saying about all those horrible rumors before Iowa about Edwards having had an affair with that videographer lady..just a terrible pack of lies and the media wasn't about to report it..

You're right. What was I thinking?

But just like anyone caught up perpetuating a lie... you compare the incomparable to fit some chosen smear of the day.

The Edward's story wasn't a completely made up story and he most certainly didn't have the lie confirmed by a polygraph test. And then the Enquirer certainly didn't apologize & print a retraction.

Why not just get on board with the team and stop all the silliness. 11 days... only 11 days left! I'd hope you'd see that there's a greater cause out there and come to realize how hurtful neo-con lies & smears can be. It's not hard to smear somebody as I've been showing in the case of the Clintons. It does us no good especially AFTER the primary to speak ill of each other. Please stop. We need to work together.

Obama Accuser’s Polygraph Results Show Deception
Sunday February 24th, 2008 2:12 PM by BHDC Staff

Larry Sinclair, the Minnesota man who has accused Sen. Barack Obama of illicit drug use and of having a sexual encounter with him in 1999, has been deceitful, according to results of a polygraph released on Sunday.

The polygraph was performed by Ed Gelb, a world-renowned expert in this arena, and is being examined by a second polygraph expert. Sinclair has already passed a drug test that proves he was not using any substances that could have affected the outcome of the polygraph.

“There were two polygraph tests administered by Dr. Gelb on Friday, the first polygraph asked Mr. Sinclair on his sex claims,” according to WhiteHouse.com, the site that paid for the test and oversaw its administration. “The second polygraph test asked Mr. Sinclair on the drug use claims. There was deception indicated in both tests.”

With such high stakes riding on the outcome, some have questioned whether polygraph results can be trusted. Many respected polygraph experts, however, say that lie detector tests are up to 95 percent accurate and polygraph results are admissible in several states. Polygraphs are also used by the U.S. government in carrying out certain security clearance procedures, as well as in determining parole for some criminals.

Obama supporters have maintained that Sen. Hillary Clinton is somehow behind Sinclair’s accusations.

This would have been the steady neo-con drumbeat of attack that could have just as easily cost the Democrats the Presidency and left America stuck continuing the failed policies and deteriorating conditions in our great nation under a John McCain! Let's work together to see that (real, not made up) disaster doesn't happen.

The Edward's story wasn't a completely made up story ~ TopGun

Try not to be so wilfully abstruse OK?

You're purposefully missing the point:

Back last year, when the Edward's story was "in play", it also was being called "made up story". See the similarity now?

Then suddenly when it looked like he might slide into a VP ticket to boost Obama's popularity, suddenly the story went front page and the "made up story" became real.

That's exactly how it will play out for the Sinclair issue. The GOP can make that happen if they think Obama's too much of a threat for their win this Fall. If you don't believe me, that's fine. Just read what the GOP is saying already about Sinclair. They're backing his story as valid, credible and him as a "brave american".

It's a done deal muchacho..

Well if I am wrong then I will gladly admit it. My only hope would be that I am not wrong about the traction and that the story is false. I would not want to see him lose the election for false reasons - just for the right ones.

People can and will say anything they want. People have a right to their own opinion, but not their own facts. The facts... Sinclair failed 2 polygraph tests and he has recanted the whole story, apologized and admitted that he's never even met Senator Obama.

And regardless of all of that I do not abandon a friend or someone I believe in because someone "might" say something negative about them. You get me all wrong. I'm not backing Senator Obama because winning is everything... although I know he's a good choice. I'm backing Senator Obama because he's the "best person" in the race. If he lost every state I'd walk away saying... Man that's a shame because that was one damn a good guy.

And none of this attempted scare, fear and tear down you try means anything. Nothing at all. Because Hillary has reams of baggage. Baggage that from the start was my only concern even when I was backing her. Hillary & Bill are a team. It's like he said when he ran... You elect me you get us both.

I never wanted to hear about cigar dildoes and oral sex in the Oval Office again. I never wanted to have the Impeachment of William Jefferson Clinton plastered all over the smear TV ads again.

And they'd be there... God be my witness they'd be there.

So my choice is made. In 10 days Senator Obama will be in the thick of the fight with the Republicans & John McCain and I'm gonna help him.

It's your team too... what are you gonna to do?

You and I agree here.

However, the GOP was effective getting the Edward's scandal out in The Enquirer. If they have enough credible sounding stuff on Sinclair's story, it'll effectively "be true enough" to acheive the objective.

That's the sad thing. Truth or non-truth doesn't exist when it comes to the ruthlessness of the right. See my signature below if you want a taste of how they're going to pitch it. That's quite literally "the party line" when it comes to the Sinclair issue. They let the cat out of the bag just a smidge too early it would seem.

And if you think they're going to hold back that angle past November, I've got some Ocean-front property in AZ to sell ya..

Most likey cry about Clinton for months and about fake stories about Obama that have nothing to them ...and act like Facts are important and ignore them all....Just a guess

Listen republicans posing as independants or democrats, enough is enough..;)

The people holding those signs should be fattened oil executives. They know ridiculing Clinton supporters will elevate The Chosen One to the idiot chair, where one carefully thrown water ballon (See Sinclair story) will put him in the dunk tank for good.

Pull the wigs off those women in the cartoons and you'll see big fat white guys in drag, trying to affect the outcome of the democratic nomination process to hoist The Big Stooge and defeat their sworn enemy.

Clinton scares the crap out of them. That's why ridicule is resorted to. People who ridicule 95% of the time are frightened of something and want it to go away without seeming to put up a fight.

What a chicken way of getting your agenda through. But hey, to the GOP, whatever works...
