And, is there a reason why the government should take it upon themselves to inform the general public about possible risks?

When people with paper cups full of gasoline burn themselves we all pay the price under socialized medical coverage. Obviously we need to put warning labels on paper cups We all know that a warning label is sufficient to stop people from doing stupid things And since the 2.2 million spent on public safety announcements cannot be spent in more legitimate ways...oh, wait, there are a million better ways to spend the money.
