Would you ever kill someone?

My experience with vets suggests that you have no experience with vets.. my boy. I didn't come back scarred and terrified over what I saw and did. Those who don't talk, are quiet because they aren't healthy, or they are ashamed.

And I am not quite sure what you mean by bragging. I haven't told you, or anyone else here a single detail about anything I did or saw while I was in vietnam.

And are you actually arguing that if I wrote a whole damned book I wouldn't be bragging, but if I mention that I have been to vietnam I am? Again. Do you ever think through anything you say?

What would you write a book about?

Would I Kill Someone?

First of all to kill someone isn't nothing to brag about. Like
someone said on this thread to kill someone in self-defense
Hell Yeah, but it would have to leave me no other choice,
and since my days in Viet Nam I do believe in its better
you then me.

I can't understand why people fake like they have a weapon,
not knowing what the other person have, and get wasted over
something that could have been avoided.

As a walking weapon I am registered as a martial arts expert.
My 9mm that I carry everyday is registered, and I do carry a
permit to have my heater. Plus I was trained that self-control
in any given situation is important, and that's the samurai
code of ethic.

In closing...if someone was to break into my apartment, or
try to carjack me, and even go so far to cause body harm
to me...they got to be taken out.

That's how I feel about killing someone.

You have clearly never been to war.

I don't know..................... I feel a little battle fatigued just listening to this.:D

I have to agree with the others though. Most Vets don't talk much about their service. Especially Vietnam Vets.

I think the world of our military. My Uncle Orville served in an infantry unit that was attached to Patton's armor division, Dad served in Korea, and the wife is ex-military intelligence serving in the Army.

Now our "kill 'em all let God sort them out" president. I'm still in shock he got elected the first time. It just goes to show you the old saying is true... You can put wings on a pig... but that don't make him an eagle!:(

I am not trying to Rain on Nobody's Parade.....

But I have discovered that most people who jawjack about they have
been in service ...really haven't been nowhere.
Its a true fact that ANYONE who served in a Conflict aka War will
not talk about their experiences. Dur to the fact that its nothing
to remember or brag about.

Hollywood has did enough damage with its so-called War films, and
one might want to join one day to discover being in the warzone isn't
hollywood. So I agree with palerider & USMC. Stop pretending to be
something that you're not.

hahahahahahah

you have no idea what we are talking about let alone what YOU are talking about ...this is funny....
you are saying this.............

Reverend Dork? :D I read your words in a different translation
then you thought you wrote your post in.

Actually you didnt read them at all then it was crystal clear that i called Palerider on his bragging about his "being in nam"

sorry

No Problem Dude. The Ghostdog will pay closer attention the next time.
However Dude, like I said I was there for 2 years and a half, and I see
nothing that I did over there to brag about now. muchless remember that bull****.
There's nothing good about being in hell believe me, and Dude
I believe that I replied that everyone who brags about being in a war or
conflict wished that they served.

Some people will shoot off at the mouth with their so-called warzone
stories, and most haven't left their neighborhood. :D To me its two
issues that's involved with a person like that. The first issue is a real
serious psychologial case of a wannabe. The second is some GIs do
talk about their experiences with kinfolks or close friends. Then there's
other people listening, and that's how braggers get their start.

Ghostdog is a name that was given to me while I was in Viet Nam,
and the history behind that is interesting due to my classification
as a member in the Special forces div Charlie. Dude, whenever you
get a chance..look up the speciality of a Samurai Warrior
