I always ask that qst!; thx God there are more and more christians today who doubt about the divinity of God---for those who didn't know: there is no single word in OT who state his divinity: he was just a great human being who would work to save fidels!

Here is what I will say in regards to this. I dont doubt the existance of Jesus. I dont doubt he was an extraordinary person. I am sure he was a very interesting and forward thinking person.
Now, him being the son, of God. The creator of the universe, and all powerful and unseen force...Im not buying that. Where the church, and any similar religion lose me, is the forced unquestioning belief that faith of the teachings of Jesus or whoever will lead someone to eternal happiness in the afterlife. Versus not believing means eternity in a burning hell. Im just not buying that infomercial.

Some of the threads don't need an update from me, they're still getting the same posts from the same people as they were last time I was here.

I'll come and go on the site, my job requires me to work sometimes and it really cuts into my free-time. We got a big, new contract and my business partner fell off a ladder and broke her arm, so I'm a little busy now and then.

You have just stated one of the most fundamental tenets of christianity - faith with reason. The logical consequence of such a tenet is the supremacy of an individual's conscience in determining the moral worth of his own actions. By no means should you surrender the rational operation of your conscience.
