Obviously politics will be a part of that job. Trying to push legislation through and certainly he will be a part of campaigning for the mid terms. But he personally will never be running again and it has to have an effect how how he does his job.

Democrats and the the corporate media that serve them have been obsessed with beating Trump. They were successful in 2020 and hugely unsuccessful this year. With him no longer running for anything will the media become more balanced and normal? The Washington post seems to be heading in that direction. In any event the media will be different in how they do their jobs.
