There is an element of truth to all stereo types and rumors too .... which will you choose ... genocide or rumor there of?

The hatred toward the Jew by many Euros before and during WWII arose from the belief that the Jew was a traitor to the nation they were citizens of. This hatred was very prevalent in the Baltic states, Poland, Ukraine, and other eastern Euro nations. It arose because many Jews in those nations sided completely with the USSR.

After Stalin adsorbed the Baltics and half of Poland in 1939 and before the Germans took over in 1941, many Jews acquired positions of power and wealth, working for the Soviets. This caused tremendous animosity toward the Jew by non-Jews. So when the Germans took over, this hatred lead to pogroms egged on by the Nazis.

Of course, Hitler and the Nazis considered the German Jew a traitor to Germany. As such, they sought to exterminate Jews wherever they were found.

Many Euro Jews were communists. This too caused considerable hatred of them by non-Jews. Much of the senior leadership of the USSR were Jews. A fact not overlooked by non-Jews of Europe.

The Cheka, the brutal security force of the USSR and whom enforced the Holodomor, was comprised almost entirely of Jews. This too caused much hatred toward Jews, not only in the Ukraine, but throughout E. Europe as news spread of the horrors committed there.

It must also be remembered that FDR had many traitorous American Jews within his administration. These Jews were Soviet spies doing Stalin's bidding. They did much damage including promoting the total destruction of Germany, thus enslaving half of Europe to the world's most evil dictator and political ideology...to say nothing of their involvement in Mao's communist victory in China.

This in no way justifies or denies the horrendous treatment of Jews by the Nazis.

One of the most important aspects of the Red Cross Report is that it clarifies the true cause of those deaths that undoubtedly occurred in the camps toward the end of the war. Says the Report: "In the chaotic condition of Germany after the invasion during the final months of the war, the camps received no food supplies at all and starvation claimed an increasing number of victims. Itself alarmed by this situation, the German Government at last informed the ICRC on February 1st, 1945 ... In March 1945, discussions between the President of the ICRC and General of the S.S. Kaltenbrunner gave even more decisive results. Relief could henceforth be distributed by the ICRC, and one delegate was authorised to stay in each camp ..." (Vol. III, p. 83).

Clearly, the German authorities were at pains to relieve the dire situation as far as they were able. The Red Cross are quite explicit in stating that food supplies ceased at this time due to the Allied bombing of German transportation, and in the interests of interned Jews they had protested on March 15th, 1944 against "the barbarous aerial warfare of the Allies" (Inter Arma Caritas, p. 78). By October 2nd, 1944, the ICRC warned the German Foreign Office of the impending collapse of the German transportation system, declaring that starvation conditions for people throughout Germany were becoming inevitable.

In dealing with this comprehensive, three-volume Report, it is important to stress that the delegates of the International Red Cross found no evidence whatever at the camps in Axis occupied Europe of a deliberate policy to exterminate the Jews. In all its 1,600 pages the Report does not even mention such a thing as a gas chamber. It admits that Jews, like many other wartime nationalities, suffered rigours and privations, but its complete silence on the subject of planned extermination is ample refutation of the Six Million legend. Like the Vatican representatives with whom they worked, the Red Cross found itself unable to indulge in the irresponsible charges of genocide which had become the order of the day. So far as the genuine mortality rate is concerned, the Report points out that most of the Jewish doctors from the camps were being used to combat typhus on the eastern front, so that they were unavailable when the typhus epidemics of 1945 broke out in the camps (Vol. I, p. 204 ff) - Incidentally, it is frequently claimed that mass executions were carried out in gas chambers cunningly disguised as shower facilities. Again the Report makes nonsense of this allegation. "Not only the washing places, but installations for baths, showers and laundry were inspected by the delegates. They had often to take action to have fixtures made less primitive, and to get them repaired or enlarged" (Vol. III, p. 594).

The revisionists say there were work camps in which lots of people died. They mainly died of typus and starvation. The starvation was due to the breakdown of the food distribution system due to allied bombing. All the pictures I've ever seen were consistent with that theory.

Could you post some pictures that aren't consistent with that theory?

I haven't taken a firm stand because all I have is a bunch of second-hand info. I don't blindly believe either version. I used to simply take what I was taught about WW2 and the Holocaust as fact until I did some research in alternative and revisionist info.

Scott, "second hand info'" isn't always dependable. Perhaps you should look at first-hand information and read the testimony of the Nazis themselves. You might want to begin with the testimony of the Commandant of Auschwitz, Rudolph Hoess? He had nothing to gain by admitting to gassing and burning 2.5 million Jews. He freely admitted to doing that, and he was hung for his crimes, asking for God's forgiveness prior to his execution. Some may argue that Hoess overstated the number of Jews he gassed and burned at Auschwitz. Maybe he only gassed and burned 1.3 million? The FACT, however, is that the Nazis DID gas and burn Jews, murdered them with guns, beat them to death, gassed them in vans, and worked them to death. Those emaciated bodies seen in most photos are most likely those who were starved and worked to death. Those gassed with Zyklon-B were typically burned and buried afterwards. Surviving Nazis admitted to these atrocities. Adolph Eichmann, the man directly overseeing the entire "Final Solution", testified that he'd sent 5 million Jews to their deaths at all the death camps, and admitted that he was happy that he had!!! He was only following orders he declared, but he freely admitted that Jews were targeted for extinction! These first-hand accounts from Nazis are consistent with the accounts of camp survivors, also first-hand sources!! Holocaust deniers are brainless idiots!!!

I used to believe the US was the good guy in all of its wars until I travelled abroad and talked to non-Americans. Now I know reality is different. If the government is lying about its intentions in its conflicts abroad, it's plausible that it's lying about other things.

Do you believe the US wasn't the "good guy" in WW2? The US had no troops involved in WW2 until the Japanese attacked Pear Harbor! The US had to be attacked before entering the war. Perhaps you don't know this, but the US did NOT enter the war against Germany until Adolph Hitler declared war on the US. If you spoke to non-Americans who believe the US is evil, I suspect those people are either ignorant, jealous, or blindly hateful of our nations ideals. The USA isn't perfect by any means, but we're far better than whatever nation is in second place.
