Some people postulate that man is a physical being, that after death, he summarily ceases to exist. I find this faulty because it equates us to insects. I belive man is a three dimensional being with a body, soul and spirit. The soul represents personality while the spirit communicates with God or demonic powers. There is a reason why no other animal apart from man is able to worship and have a conscience.
