the annoying thing

Today I went to my doctors office and Publix and I had on my I stand with Israel shirt.
I got a thumbs up from a young woman and a guy about 40 then a older guy in maybe his early 50 stopped me and said I really respect you for wearing that shirt in public with the way Muslims and some democrats are acting with the threats and violence they have done and the riots.
I fond that really interesting , I have always expressed my self openly .
Thats when I realized a lot of people are scared of Muslims and liberals here in country and how sad that is.
Now I have a question for everyone is this normal what have we come to when we fear our fellow citizen.It appears so for some .Thats a shame.
