The country is in trouble because we have such mentally crippled, bought & paid for politicians running the country with the major focus being to cover their asses instead of their responsibilities. When you’re a crook, you have to look over your shoulder constantly, -wondering which rock they’re going to turn over next. This is a function of uniparty think, not just Dems who are un-American in their own right. We have a Constitution. It assumes that the majority of our representatives would be honestly intending to put the country's interests ahead of their own. Not so for a surprising percentage. Their self-interest is a function of money to buy elections being raised & controlled by parties instead of the sole responsibility of the person running for a given office. Anyone who doesn't play ball with the party will not be funded as well as an opponent, -or at all if the party power brokers see that to be in their best interest. Only those individual reps who have sources for enough money to win by themselves can argue the point.

So now we are left with a series of factions that are at war with each other inside and outside their own parties. The GOP has a very deep bench for President, but the House is a collection of collections that are against the several somebodies who would be Speaker. The Speaker bench is thin, to be polite; a mile wide but an only an inch deep. The obvious choice would be Scalice, but he doesn't have the stomach for the fight. MTG is wrong in withholding her vote because he is undergoing cancer treatments because he is as close to conservative as the House is going to get. The RINOs can withhold their vote against anyone who is conservative on any pretext, but they exist and need to be bought off by a Speaker candidate. I don't know if or how, or by whom that can be arranged. While I’m sure Jim Jordan could rise to the office, I want him to concentrate on pursuing the Biden treason network, not be Speaker. That’s the bench. Yuk.

Biden’s treason & ineptitude is about to get us into WWIII from which a poorer world may, or may not emerge at all. We have an astounding number of potential saboteurs spread out in our country, waiting for a signal. Klaus Schwab & friends are waiting with baited breath to Take Charge. We didn’t arrive here overnight; China has been preparing itself (and us) for the middle kingdom to re-ascend to its proper place for 50 years. We have been decaying in moral righteousness for years with the government profiting from gambling and drugs and ignoring laws & customs of the country we used to be. Signs are everywhere; is Obama the Anti-Christ? Armageddon is nearer than ever. You don’t need to be a Bible-thumper to yearn for the 50’s. They weren’t perfect, but we’re a long ways away from well & good now…
