As Cruella pointed out its heavily union labor which = over compensated.
You can look to UPS to see how unions can be viable as they do get their money's worth of effort from them.

yep its not that people don't use the Mail that much anymore, or that gas prices keep going up...its all those damn workers getting paid to well....Its always good to know the right thinks so many of the middle class are overpaid, but never cares how much CEO's make.

as the supply of letter carriers is outpacing the demand to carry letters do you really think it makes sense to keep them ? letters are never coming back in fashion. I'd say whack the CEO of USPS but his hands are tied by Congress so I guess we have to whack Congress instead. Nice strawman attempt conflating letter carriers with 'the middle class'. Stockholders will take care of managing CEO compensation.
