Ungodly false allegations, unjust arrests and wrongful convictions in US history

God allowed sin and depravity in government thousands of years ago just as He is allowing it today.

You'll be waiting for a long time if you are expecting to see the invisible God with corrupted human eyes.
Not one single person ever born will ever see any ridiculous god, in death or life, including deluded old godbotherers like you.

World governments continued the practice of slavery but the church never obtained Biblical encouragement to poarticipate in the trade.
Georgetown University, a Jesuit university, was in some sort of financial trouble in the 1850' s and sold more than a hundred of it slaves to plantations in Louisiana. Recently, it paid reparations to the descendants of many of them. You don't know diddly.

Those facts should serve as evidence that Jesuits are not serving at God's pleasure.

What was your question again? I rarely avoid answering posts directed at me.
You respond to posts but you rarely answer question directly. Here, again:

Faced with a choice to go to jail for a longtime for an unpaid debt or becoming providing servitude, a person “chooses” the latter. Do you support such slavery?

I do think there were good reasons to support indentured servitude as an alternative to starvation, especially for an impoverished man seeking relief for his starving children.

“Were”? Do you support it or not? Btw: that is basically slavery wrapped in and excused by an inhumane (by “savages”) law.

I see problems with various debt collecting processes throughout history and don't subscribe to any of them today but I do believe efforts to help the impoverished should still be maintained in a way that does not allow the impoverished to get so much help that they need to expend no effort to help satisfy their own debts with their own hard labor.

It's clearly in that filthy Bible. So is incest and child sex slaves.
Either you're trying to protect the reputation of your Bible or you've never read it.
The Bible does not support sex slavery but democrats continue to allow the unchecked trafficking of child sex slaves through our southern border.

You are beating around the bush too much. Do you support voluntary (basically involuntary) servitude for money you owe or not?

You could hide as much as you want but it is clear to me if you were there at the time of rampant slavery you would support it and then would be on the side of confederacy to preserve slavery. It is also rather clear to me that even today you have a soft spot in your heart for some sort of slavery.

I do support voluntary servitude of some kind as a measure for debt relief but there are too many differing aspects of debt relief involving servitude for me to make a blanket statement of support for all.
