I agree with this. A lot of waiters only declare tips if they are included on a credit card. If the tip is cash left on the table, many, perhaps most, just stick it in their pockets, which I cannot see as any sort of immoral act. I always leave the tip in cash. I never add money to a takeout tip jar, that is just silly.

Some places force the waitstaff to give a share of their tips to a fund which then management claims is all distributed to the busboys.

No taxes on overtime is absurd.
I think that asylum to people whose lives are in danger in their home countries is something we should support.

The reality is that the consumer economy needs to be in a constant state of growth. Because physical resources are finite, this is eventually not sustainable. But for the economy to grow, the working population also much grow, and Americans are not producing enough children for that. So the only recourse is to import labor from elsewhere.

I see very little likelihood that taxes on tips and overtime will be untaxed. Trump lies, and promises stuff that he later ignores.\

It is slightly more likely that Social Security will not be taxed. I would suspect that the heritage Foundation advisors would try to combine lifting taxes off of Social Security with a decrease in benefits.

I'm a civil libertarian who is almost absolutist on issues pertaining to the bill of rights. I voted for Trump. Like Tulsi Gabbard and RFK jr I feel that Trump was better in this area than any democrat.
