1. President Trump's business has an active bank account in China and has paid more than $188,000 in taxes to the government in Beijing - much more than the $750 in taxes that he paid to the US treasury in both 2016 and 2017.
Trump paid taxes to the Chinese government while he pursued licensing deals there between 2013 and 2015, according to tax records obtained by The New York Times.
While Trump has paid into the Chinese treasury, he paid no federal income taxes in 10 of the 15 years preceding his White House run, according to records obtained by the Times.
It is the latest in a series of Trump tax revelations published by the Times in the last month which show a series of financial losses and income from abroad that critics say could come into conflict with his responsibilities as president.
The president’s financial disclosures indicated he earned at least $434.9million in 2018, but the tax filings reported a $47.4million loss….

2. As quoted by Will Rogers: "The income tax has made more liars out of the American people than golf has. Even when you make a tax form out on the level, you don't know when it's through if you are a crook or a martyr."
Hence Trump’s China tax scandal is no surprise. The New York Times revelation offers a new insight into his extreme hostility towards China. As the leader of the supposedly sole superpower, he is in an indomitable position to get back his pound of flesh from China -- his most hated taxman. Had China let him "pay next to nothing" like what he has paid to his own country, both countries could be less at odds now.

3. A more plausible explanation for his extreme hostility towards China is that his China tax scandal is known to the China hawks in his party. Hence, instead of sacking or impeaching him for all his scandals, they find it more useful to keep him in power and manipulate him for their anti-China policies even at the expense of tarnishing their party as the most shameless and corrupt in American history. Whenever they feel that he has not struck hard enough at China, they will enact legislations or pass laws to ensure the "wild horse" is back on the "correct track". That's their way to show the “fake news” president who the real bosses are.
