Context is extremely important. Trump, for example, talked with Zelensky and congratulated him on his election win and suggested they work togerther on a number of issues, including a handful of US investigations into corrupt involvements between Ukrainian crooks and American businessmen and politicians. A low-level aide heard the call, totally took it out of context, and illegally leaked his inaccurate rendition of the call to Trump-hating leftist democrats in Congress who were desperately seeking some sort of dirt on Trump they could use to seditiously remove him from office.

This post is about context and the many ways democrats have totally twisted statements of republicans out of context in order to condemn them for saying things thery did not say in those twisted contexts.
