Another practical fact is that fossil fuels companies have invested little in alternative energy. They are not changing their business model because they know the world needs fossil energy and they are providing that. Your insurance argument is ignorant as hell. The person who owns the property pays for the insurance and the cost goes up as the value of the property goes up.

Why would any insurance company be willing to cover that property if they have to pay for the loss? Simple they know and understand risk and are willing to cover that property which only makes my point.
