The G20 Snub: The World vs The GOP

Stunning post.

How did you manage to get self delusikon honed so well?

Bush stole his first election win. That is why on his first day rather than walk the last mile receiving the appreciation of those who have turned out to welcome the new president as is traditional he stayed in the car with his CIA minders running to catch up. Why, cos the only people who turned up were those who were outraged at the travesty of democracy that had got him into the Whitehouse

He presided over the worst terroist attack on US soil ever and yet you say he protects the US.

He launched an illegal war based on a lie. And hundreds of thousands of innocent people have been killed as a result

He presided over the worst economic downturn in US history.

He made the world hate America.

He has swelled the ranks of radical organisations like Al Qaeda

And you are banging on about how bad Obama is.

That has got to be something that needs professional help as a minimum.

He is a lying, cheating, alcoholic, drug taking war criminal.

But yes, apart from that he is well, erm actually there is nothing good that I can think of to say aout Bush.

How anyone can call Obama a dickhead and support Bush I don't know.

You must really have lost your mind to make such a statement.

Perhaps it is the colour of Obama's skin that is the real problem.

oh its really easy to call obama a dickhead if you are not one of his worshiping followers. because really he is one, though I would never have said it until some di... till someone here said it about bush.

obama is a worse human being by far than bush could ever dream of being. but its not something you can see while you are busy with your head that far up his rear

Here's what "went wrong" in Iraq...

Or rather, it is what has always been wrong with Iraq. Bush, the minute he took office, was chomping at the bit to invade Iraq. 911 gave him the perfect excuse to lie to Congress and get permission to use our Treasury to do the following:

"...for the past few weeks, the controversy over the U.S.-Iraq Status of Forces Agreement [SOFA] has been well represented in that nation’s newspapers. The agreement, now in the hands of the Iraqi National Assembly, was due to be voted on today, but the vote has been postponed at least until tomorrow...

..According to the editorial, the SOFA is being used to distract the attention of people from the still-unsigned Iraq Oil Law. That’s right - after all of the commotion last year over the Oil Law, it was never signed, and many Iraqis continue to believe that this is the real priority for the United States...

..After Iraqis and Arabs argued for months about an oil agreement , the issue seems to have been “lost.” Suddenly, people have forgotten about it, and many don’t know or recall what became of the deal, which would “organize” the theft and looting of Iraq’s oil wealth, offering unprecedented legitimacy to thievery in broad daylight …”

The reason thinking people objected to Bush's little coup is that it was a coup an outright theft of the Whitehouse and our public Treasury. We were being lied to since day one and we knew it. Congress knows it. The world knows it (and hence the G-20 Snub) And soon wrongs will be set to right.

My personal favorite solution is to indict oil company executives, no matter how low they drop the price at the pump to calm the angry horde, and SOAK their profits to replenish our Treasury.

If I lied to Congress and stole from the Treasury as a result of that lie, the very least they'd do is force me to compen$ate for the Treasury's losses as calculated in whole from the outfall of my lies (the entire Iraq war and possibly the demise of the auto industry...tied via oil monopoly plans and profiteering). They'd probably hang me. I'd be satisfied with re$titution. Make that "Re$titution" with a capital "R".

NoObamanation now will attempt to divert the subject at hand by turning it into a sparring match about who called who a name.

Another mole tactic to divert from painful and damaging subject matter..

The world knows Bush et al. are crooks. Just like if Al Capone was walking along that ramp, how many moral people would bend down to warmly shake his hand?

I think if America wants to quickly regain its status from "global jackas$" that Bushco have brought us to, we should try BushCo for war crimes, just like we expected Nazi Germay to do. We are subject to the same terms or moral compunction that we demand from the rest of the world. If we do not set wrongs to right, publicly, we are in danger of looking like abetters to the crimes of BushCo and America will struggle to get herself back on her feet with further snubs. We are not in a position right now to step on more toes with further crimes of omission. We must act decisively to show the world we are still in control of our own (White) house.

Yep, Bush is a war criminal and the world would respect the US more if him (and Blair for that matter) were tried for their crimes.

the last thing that matters is if a bunch of socialist pigs respect the US, they can only respect the US if the US is just like them, socialist pigs.

its better to let them keep their respect for eachother.

I have no desires to divert your silly thread, get a life

NoObamanation, it may console you to deride as socialist pigs those countries that are alrmed by the bevaiour of the US under the Bush administration but you must accept that you are in a tiny minority and that the way you express your views makes people understand why they have turned away from Bush and his policies.

Yes, and Bush's cohort(s) across the pond. I'm not sure that Blair had anything to do with Gitmo though.

Well here's Bush's walk of shame: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rqVhjfZWKkU

Now, there's all this commentary on how it really wasn't a walk of shame and they have footage of all those guys shaking Bush's hand in some photo-op beforehand or after...I forget which.

But you know... those guys when the whole string was walking along were purposefully avoiding shaking his hand in a public venue. They vigorously shook hands and greeted all the other walkers. Not one shook Bush's hand... most wouldn't even look at him.

You can call it what you like. I call it what it was: a snub, plain and evident for your eyes to see. Play it over and over to make sure I'm not making this up!

Anyway, I think it's more than just a reflection of how the world sees Bush and more a reflection of how it sees the GOP in general. I think, and this is just coming from the gut IMHO, that if we had another GOP leadership this time around, in Congress or in the Oval Office, we would be in BIG trouble on a global scale. We now, thanks to Dubya and his BigOil goonsquad, sit at mercy of our enemies and our allies. Our economy is wrecked and we no longer are powerful. Add up how much US Treasury that was wasted on Dubya trying to sieze Iraq for private oil interests in the last 8 years and then figure out for yourself what "went wrong" with our economy.

I love Sarah Palin's little mantra: "I don't have a rear view mirror: I only look forward."

Yeah, "forward" to blaming a ruined nation (and world economy that depends on it) on the democratic administration that came to the rescue and tried to save the situation....

Regardless of the other things you've thrown in here (and others have throughout the thread), I'm taking your title on face value that this is about the "G20 Snub: The World vs The GOP". Not that IF it were true one would necessarily have anything to do with the other...

And ironically, it's CNN (you go girl, Jeanne!) actually setting things straight! Sorry Charlie!... And Rick!... And Jon!...
Or the link here since I can never seem to get these to play right here...
