Steele: Limbaugh is not the leader of the GOP

I'm kind of bothered about this whole thing... Limbaugh was seen this weekend as the GOP leader. His words meant more than what steele had to say. In fact Steele had to aplogized to Limbaugh for his comments. If that's the route the GOP is taking than they're going to be in deep crap in 2010....

Well, to be honest, I watched the CPAC Rush address to the nation, and by the time he was done, I was about ready to vote for him. There just isn't many real conservative politicians. Of course I think outsting all the bailout supporters first. Them scum bags need to go.

Popeye;88555]Well, no need to worry....Tom Steele is now kissing Limbaugh's butt

I used to think how tough it was for the Democrats to get all their different groups to work together and support a common agenda...

BUT NOW WATCHING THE REPUBLICANTS... WOW! They have just imploded. I mean you've got Bobby Jindal looking like a complete and utter space case out there giving TV responses.

And then a few days later Steele comes out trying to save the last few moderates and Independents that would even give the Republicant Party a second look and Druggie Limbaugh rants and raves his way out there and attacks that to death!:D

I guess from my point of view it's good that Limbag wants the whole Republicant Party to be just the hard core 20% out there on the far, FAR Lunatic Right! :D

More moderate Republicans & Independents being alienated by the big blowhard is a good thing I guess.;)

Absolutely. The more we get rid of moderates and independents, the more we have a chance at defeating socialists. Remember Reagan? No moderate or independents there!

Living in the past..aren't we? That's not a surprise, the GOP is the party of the past...in fact, it appears as if the Republicans wouldn't mind going all the way back to Jim Crow....the treatment of Steele is exhibit A.

BTW, I've found a new website for all of you groveling Republicans who feel the need to apologize to your leader:

Ah Reagan... now that there was a real trick ya guy!

You guys should keep this up though... it's working out great for America by helping the Dems. Blow off all the moderates and Independents you possibly can... we'd love to have 'em all! We have a BIG TENT!;)

Reagan is the only Presidnt so far that did inherit a real recession and turned it around with the "socialistic" policies.

So say what you will, but he was faced with worse crap than Obama and turned it around.

Why don't you minorities go back where you came-from!!!!

:p

I was around when Reagan got in office and Carter left the country a shambles. Way worse than it is right now.

The country had one major problem during Carter... OIL EMBARGOES and other Middle East oil related problems... and they did really hurt us in many different ways in our overall economy with inflation etc. as we were totally unprepared for it.

However President Obama has the Mortgage Crisis, Banking Crisis, Wall Street Crisis, 2 inherited WARS as well as a recent and always looming Energy Crisis!

There is a lot that needs done but as we move forward I think there will be real positive results! I'm supporting the President of the United States! He offered a vision and he was elected with a mandate. It's now his chance to make a difference!

when reagan took over, interest rates were double digit. Un employment was double digit. On top of that, carter did not have a spine.

Reagan had to get our hostages out.

What i don't recall though, is Reagan complaining about the mess carter left.

I don't recall Bush complaining about Clinton and how the defense spending was dropped dramatically and how Osama bin Laden was basically set free by the Administration.

Obama was never guaranteed the nation would be in a good position. He just agreed to do certain things, which now he is not living up to. And him and the dems don't hesitate to say... Bush.. it's Bush's fault.

Obama was in congress during the Bush Administration. He knew exactly what was happening during the first tarp.

He can quit the "I'm the victim" game. It's is childish and very demeaning for the position he holds.

Glenn Beck never said anything like that at all

It was Howard Stern or something and he got fired for it but went to satelite radio.

Obama was one speaking out for his being fired for saying racist comments in public all while going to a racist church, it was really funny in a sick and twisted sort of way

Actually, it was Don Imus who said the nappy headed ho thing..

See, this is why I wonder if you know anything about any topic on which you speak.

Oil Embargo started in October of 1973, and ended March 1974. A whooping 5 months.

Carter got into office in 1977. Hello? 6th grade history anyone? And you run a business? How? Who helps you write your name?

So what caused the Oil Crisis? Uh... Carter put price controls in place. Price controls always result in shortages in exactly the same way electricity price controls caused rolling black outs in California. Hello... economics 101!

So, where exactly did you go to school? Oh right, OSU. Amazing...

However President Obama has the Mortgage Crisis, Banking Crisis, Wall Street Crisis, 2 inherited WARS as well as a recent and always looming Energy Crisis!

Right, so everything is not his fault. Before everything was the presidents fault, now nothing is. I love it.

So tell me, how is Obama handling them any differently than Bush? He's expended rendition, deployed more troops, supported the banking bailout, spent $1 Trillion over the already bloated federal deficit, and tried to enter the White House through a window.

Support this guy? Are you kidding? He needs removed. In two months he's already proven to be a bigger idiot than Bush in 8 years.
