Wouldn’t you like to live in a land where no one argued about abortion? You could just have them at your pleasure. And there were no guns because everyone agreed no guns.

A land where everyone agreed to do what ever is needed to save that butterfly or spotted owl.

It seems like you would want that.

I know that I would love to live in a land where abortion was one of our sad facts of HISTORY like slavery. I would love to live in a land where we cared for the land but the people too! Where it was ok to have faith in something higher than yourself and you were not mocked for it.

It would only work for a couple of hundred years and then we would have to go through this again, but it’s the couple of hundred years my kids and grandkids grew up so its worth it to me today to do it.

In about 11% of cases they are taken off the owner and used on them.

I would like to see a Mosin-Nagant that would shoot a .67 five shot 100 yard group even in a machine rest. Even if it were a rifle built by the U.S.S.R for Olympic competition, you are as likely to shoot groups like that from the even the bench (let alone from standard positions including prone)as I am to fly. As a former competitor in NRA High Power Rifle competition, me thinks thee are spreading the Bull Poop higher than knee deep.

dehermit, not only are groups like that possible, they're quite easy to do. I own a couple of Mosin's myself, and with my handloads, I routinely shoot 1/2 MOA groups out to 500 meters, and on really good days, I've even managed 1/4 MOA groups. The trick is not shooting that crap mil-spec ammo (which you'll be lucky to get 2 MOA out of), and building rounds that your individual weapon 'likes'.

What exactly is it that I need NOW NOW NOW?

I think that 50 years ago and before, Americans did what you are talking about. Killed the buffalo off without thinking about the future. Killed off bears whales or what ever was in the way or could make us a buck. Americans have not thought that way for a while now, and we get better at trying to take care of the planet. The argument today is do we let a logging town suffer because an owl likes the trees? I saw so many towns just become nothing almost over night over an owl.

I have seen people lose rights to their property over what we used to call swamps or slews and now are called wetlands. I love animals but I also love families and I think both can co exist but the extreme is going the other way now. A hundred years ago they killed the buffalo till there was no more, now they rather side with the animal to the extremes of hurting families.

I just thought of something. If we do separate, who gets the debt? I don’ want to owe China nothing. But it would be unfair to shove the debt onto the lib’ who left with parts of Oregon, Cal and Washington and a couple of states up north. It may not have been purchased with blood, but it's been paid for, and defended with blood, so nope, not at all, not even one square inch. If they honestly belive that America is so AFU that they're willing to even consider adopting the utterly discredited forms of Socialism and Communism, then they have to make a choice, pecefully leave or DIE!

The Constitution IS the law of the land, and as both Socialism and Communism are antithetical to that Constitution, and as I and many other like me took our Oaths to "...support and defend the Constitution, against all enemies, foreign and domestic...", the mere possibility of tolerating either of them, in any measure, is utterly out of the question. If they cannot find it within themselves to live and work, within the guidelines established in our Constitution, they are free to leave of their own volition, but I will not abide any attempt to "pay them off".
