There is no Democrat challenger in that race. Thad Cochran runs unopposed now, which means he damn sure did win this race.

Sorry --- as distasteful and morally wrong as their actions were --- it was not voter fraud. They did nothing illegal.

In Mississippi, it is an open primary, meaning anyone - regardless of affiliation - can vote. The Republican party is the one who decides that for their primary. They simply need to change the rules. Same thing happened in Colorado a couple years ago, and we changed the rules. Problem solved.

As for the actions surrounding the voter rolls, THAT is worthy of investigation. If it's found true, then somebody should hang (probably shouldn't say that in Mississippi, huh?)

Lindsay Krout, a volunteer working in Mississippi, was barred from reviewing voter rolls in Lafayette County Mississippi Friday morning.

Lindsay said when she went to the Lafayette County courthouse this morning and was forced to wait for an hour. Then the county clerk told her the Secretary of State’s office said the county had to redact the Social Security number and addresses from the voter rolls. The clerk said it will take until Wednesday to redact the information. And, the county will charge McDaniel supporters for the extra work.

Mississippi law states that the clerk must allow public viewing of the election documentation:

Keep in mind True The Vote was one of the groups targeted by Obama's IRS.

"In order to avoid potential state and federal legal challenges we request that you preserve all absentee ballot applications, absentee ballots and accompanying mailing envelopes until the challenges to them can be resolved,” the letter stated. “Furthermore, we request that you not certify this election until this matter can be satisfactorily resolved.”

Now who wants to bet that these absentee ballots go the way of Lois Lerner's emails and the election is certified anyway?
