But really, you make it sound like American companies are directly selling things to Iran, versus legitimately selling items that are then illicitly diverted after purchase. I'm shocked, truly shocked, that banned goods sometimes turn up in the black market. However, the story you linked to suggests that it's evil capitalists in Dubai and elsewhere who are profiting in this market, not necessarily US businessmen.
