How was South Africa any different than Australia with their British colonization? The Dutch East India company was there with a colony in 1652.

The Difference was that South Africa was a fairly developed country with farming. The whites were always a minority.
In Australia the native Aboriginals were hunters and gatherers and were small in number when the white man arrive. They did not use the whole country and soon the whites outnumber them. This was still not morally right and we have apologise for our treatment of the aboriginals , but we can not hand most of the land back.

That's the thing how to tame blacks in Africa. Whites who invade their country can tame them. Why didn't Napolean thought of that idea ruling Africa? He may very well might had controlled the whole continent

The Problem was that Napolean was a limited human being, too arrogant and in the end a poor Commander. He even lost Eu0pe eventually. The only power that could have conquer Africa was the Roman Empire. But when they go to Egypt they treated the people they conquer well as Egypt became the bread basket of Europe..In the end you achieved more by negotiations than conquest.

Well Caesar couldn't do it anyway. Cause Africans had equal type of weapons that roman empire had. Napoleon had guns and cannons that Africans only fight with shields and spears.
