About time someone posted a thread about this
now I wonder how long it will take before someone posts on fast and furious
Come on, Pandora! It just came out in the news last night and, contrary to Bododie's insinuations, it was broadly covered by CNN AND MSNBC, both last night and this morning!
Last night?
google the story and look at the dates they were posted
Hell I asked about it in this forum last week and I waited a while before asking why no one is talking about it
Below is a story from September 2d where the two senators are talking about expanding the investigation.

the oldest story on the fast and furious I could find was on June 29th and a correction made, the clip was CBS news interviewing obama. Though I could not get the clip to play at least they asked him about it.
Apparently the left leaning news stopped talking about it after that till last night from what I am reading here.

Well, I guess you will have to forgive me for not hearing about it until last night. I was otherwise occupied for the last couple of weeks. . .with a surgery, and a stay in the hospital.
And. . .obviously it is ONLY when the name "OBAMA" is brought forward that the sadistic Republicans get all excited and start smelling blood!
You are such a disappointment to me, Pandora, because, unlike Bododie and Little Acorn, I actually had respect and even liking for you.
But... obviously, I do not know you.

I know you guys want it to be the end of the world but
Lol. Is that what you know, child person? Lol.
You won. I knew you would be the one to pull something from the past to make an excuse about the now.
What if this was a Republican scandal? Oh yeah the mainstream liberal media would be all over on it. Just like CBS,ABC,NBC MSNBC And CNN were all over on the Bush Halliburton scandal. But when it comes to a Democrat president they look the other way.
I am sorry I know you hate perspective and having to look back at anything that ever happened when Obama was not in charge so you can live in a bubble. And notice I even pointed out that was not so much a issue of Bush but of corporate culture..so even then I was not attacking Bush for it..
you mean the Halliburton one where they had hundreds of billion dollar contracts that they where not forced to bid on, the the VP was the former head of, and that is still ongoing today..one that involved a war zone and a war that turned out to based on lies, errors, and costing trillions?
More than 20 federal lawsuits naming KBR and seeking class-action status were filed in late 2008 and 2009
over the practice of operating "burn pits" at U.S. bases in both Iraq and Afghanistan and thus exposing soldiers to smoke containing dioxin, asbestos and other harmful substances. The pits are said to include "every type of waste imaginable," with items such as "tires, lithium batteries, Styrofoam, paper, wood, rubber, petroleum-oil-lubricating products, metals, hydraulic fluids, munitions boxes, medical waste, biohazard materials (including human corpses), medical supplies (including those used during smallpox inoculations), paints, solvents, asbestos insulation, items containing pesticides, polyvinyl chloride pipes, animal carcasses, dangerous chemicals, and hundreds of thousands of plastic water bottles."
A company statement responding to the allegations said that "at the sites where KBR provides burn pit services, the company does so... in accordance with the relevant provisions" of its contracts as well as "operational guidelines approved by the Army."
