Information obtained via subpoena by the Nevada Republican Party from the state’s Department of Motor Vehicles revealed that thousands of non-citizens not only were registered to vote, but actually cast ballots in the 2020 election.

The fraudulent votes were cast thanks to the DMV’s registering of all those who applied for driver’s licenses. Since legal and illegal “non-citizens” can hold driver’s licenses in the state, it’s easy for them to get registered to vote if the DMV employees “do their due diligence.”

The information obtained under a subpoena displayed green-card holders and non citizens who had obtained driver’s licenses. Based on the official data set, the Nevada GOP “compared this detailed information against the county voter records in Nevada” and “discovered that 6,260 non citizens were registered to vote and 3,987 non-citizens had voted.”

Binnall's claim that almost 4,000 noncitizens voted was purportedly found by comparing official DMV records of noncitizens to 2020 voter rolls.

DMV spokesman Kevin Malone told the Nevada Independent that it provided the Trump campaign with a list of the names and addresses of people who obtained a driver's license or driver authorization card using immigration paperwork within the last five years.

However, Malone said the list provided was not definitive proof of citizenship or noncitizenship because individuals could obtain citizenship and legally vote after obtaining a driver authorization card.

Michael Kagan, director of the UNLV Immigration Clinic, also noted to the Nevada Independent that "someone might have been a noncitizen three years ago when they got their driver's license, and they then got citizenship, voted legally, and haven't renewed their license with a new document yet.”

The New Motor Voter Act was passed in an effort to improve voter turnout, and while this law does automatically register citizens to vote when they obtain or renew their driver's licenses, that action only applies to citizens who have already attested and/or documented an eligibility to vote.

RALEIGH, N.C. — At about 4 a.m. on Aug. 23, federal agents rousted Jose Solano-Rodriguez from his bed in the suburbs of Raleigh. A couple of hours later, three agents knocked on Hyo Suk George’s door as she fed her rabbits and chickens in rural Columbus County. Jose Ramiro-Torres was at his job at a fencing company near the Outer Banks when his girlfriend called to tell him to come home, where federal agents were waiting.
In all, 20 immigrants — two still in pajamas — were rounded up over several days, many of them handcuffed and shackled, and charged with voting illegally in the 2016 presidential election. The sweep across eastern North Carolina was one of the most aggressive voting-fraud crackdowns by a Trump-appointed prosecutor — and also a deliberate choice that demonstrates where the administration’s priorities stand.
At the time of the arrests, an organized ballot-tampering effort that state officials had repeatedly warned about was allegedly gearing up in the same part of North Carolina. The operation burst into public view after Election Day in November when the state elections board, citing irregularities in the mail-in vote, refused to certify the results of the 9th Congressional District race. That seat remains unfilled while state officials investigate.

The House is set to dismiss former GOP Rep. Robert K. Dornan's challenge to election results that forced him to give up his California seat to Democratic Rep. Loretta Sanchez, ending an acrimonious 13-month battle that many Republican leaders believe has hurt the party with Hispanic voters nationwide.

Sanchez took the seat from six-term incumbent Dornan in November 1996 by just 984 votes. Dornan claimed the election was stolen through rampant illegal voting by non-citizens.

Acting on a recommendation from a contested-election task force, the House Oversight Committee on Feb. 4 voted 8 to 1 to drop the investigation of Dornan's claims. The full House is likely to accept that verdict when the resolution is introduced sometime the week of Feb. 9.

Task force Chairman Vernon J. Ehlers, R-Mich., said investigators had found concrete evidence of 748 illegal votes by non-citizens, not enough to throw Sanchez's victory into doubt. He and other Republicans said the results nonetheless show that Dornan's challenge was not frivolous and that the GOP was not unfairly targeting Hispanic voters.

Voter Fraud: When President Donald Trump brought up the idea that noncitizens were casting ballots in elections, the reaction was fast and furious. Such a thing, if it exists at all, is exceedingly rare, we were told. But when one state decided to take a close look, it found something quite different.

After a yearlong voter-fraud probe, Texas discovered that, lo and behold, 95,000 people identified as noncitizens had voter registrations. What's more, 58,000 of them voted in one or more Texas elections.

When Attorney General Ken Paxton led the state's investigation, he noted that Texas had already found 165 noncitizens in four counties who had cast 100 illegal votes in two years.

More recently, Pennsylvania officials said they found more than 11,000 noncitizens registered to vote in that state.
