He served in the military and the National Guard and learned about weapons. He certainly thought about participating in a shooting war, as here were plenty during his time in the National Guard.

Neither his experience in Hong Kong or in the National Guard will affect his ability to serve as VP or president.

I also served in the military and handled guns, but, unlike Walz, I never felt the urge to tell lies about fighting in a war I never fought in.

Neither his experience in Hong Kong or in the National Guard will affect his ability to serve as VP or president.
