China’s government sees human rights as an existential threat. Its reaction could pose an existential threat to the rights of people worldwide.

Most of the population of China has benefited more from the huge unprecedented economic growth of the People's Republic of China since Deng. Highways and ultrafast railroads have been built, nearly everyone has access to potable water and electricity in China today. China before Deng was a Third World country and a lot of it has all the advanced technology that exists in the US and the EU.

Nothing is demonic anywhere, because demons do not exist, by the way. China is far from perfect, but so is the US. Scenes from The Godfather are not really proof of anything historical. It was a great film, but a historical document it was not.

China has correctly decided that Islam is not compatible with their plans to develop and industrialize China. In precisely the same way, Trumpists in this forum have decided that Representative Omar Ilhan and other Muslims are bad American and should be deported. I think that Muslim citizens of our country have a right to their religion and that Uyghurs also have the same rights. These rights are par of the UN Charter.

Democrats care little for the sufferings of the oppressed under wicked governments that benefit some but not all. Slave owners in the US were like that. Their argument: "What difference does it make that some darkies have it rough considering all the rest of the people who benefit from them being forced to work like they should?"

The Chinese people decide nothing. The fascist Chinese dictators decide what they will be allowed to think and do. That is what democrats want to implement in the US: Every thought and deed made comformable to democrat policies and dictates.

You have never been to China or even read a book about anyone who has. The fact is that up to the 1980's, China was a Third World Country, and since then, it has become the second largest economy in the world.

The extreme ignorance is yours. You are hideously ignorant of history, politics and even the Christian religion.

Cuba is entirely different, and no one today has anything good to say about the Diaz Canel government.
