I support the troops but think the war war wrong and a bad idea....thats one thing
Now if I said I support the troops....and hope we lose in Iraq....that's not the same now is it? that's actually hoping that our troops get killed.
as a American, I hoped I was wrong about what would happen in Iraq...its only to bad it went very close to how I expected it to go.
Rush hopes that the economy fails and that things get worse...for political gain...regardless of how many people that would effect. Becuse if it worked and the econ got going well again and we fixed some major issues...well that just does not work for republicans winning the next election...so he wants us to fail..
Rush should take some more pills, lots, all at once.
That is not what Rush said. Rush didn't say he hopes the economy fails and things get worse. He said he hopes Obama fails.
If the Russians hoped Stalin failed, would that mean they hoped they starved?
If Cambodians hoped Pol Pot failed, would that mean they hoped they would be killed?
If Germans hoped Hitler failed, would that mean they hoped they would all be slaughtered in war?
No, they hoped Stalin would fail before they ended up in Gulags, that Hilter would fail before they ended up losing a world war, that Pol Pot would fail before he successfully wiped out 26% of the population of the entire nation.
Where in the world do you get this lame pathetic idea that 'the man' Obama, IS America? Obama is NOT America. He is nothing but a temporary steward of the presidency. America can succeed while he fails. It's entirely possible and what I support.
I want him out before he socializes half the economy, and ruins our health care system, screws up our banking system, and causes long term damage to our entire economy that won't be fixed for ages to come.
Oh and btw... about hoping that we fail the war... the left has always been in favor of this. Way back in 2003, right after the start of the war:
Mogadishu of course, is where a botched military operation in the early 90s, got 18 soldiers killed, and their bodies dragged through the streets.
Amazingly there was a letter written by the president of Columbia University, condemning the disgusting display of support for American deaths... but not surprisingly, not one single Democrat signed it.
