Thanks to the Republicans, the current Supreme Court has been packed with Right-wing partisans, forcing their religious beliefs on the rest of us.
Main stream medical procedures and care must not be allowed to be controlled by medically ignorant, partisan groups of mostly men, applying their religious beliefs. That is what just happened.
This giving abortion to the states is a misdirection. That's not what is happening. The red states are making abortion a criminal offence. Women are even in danger if they have a miscarry.
There talk of going after women seeking abortions in other states and bringing them back to face criminal charges? States cannot make laws that cross state lines. That is what the Federal government is for. Conservative states are doing that anyway.
We are supposed to be the United States of American. This Court is dividing the country, with basic dictatorships coming currently to up to 26 states.
What's next to go? Same sex marriage? Cohabitation? Mixed race marriages? The last probably one not as long as Thomas is on the court.
Can we expect the Sunday Blue Laws to make a comeback somewhere down the road? That's a possibility also.
Republicans talk about freedom while they pass laws taking it away.
