Biden is an interesting guy, obviously intelligent, though I don't agree with him on everything, I like him a lot. I'm not sure why he hasn't caught on, but that hair, or lack of it, doesn't help.
He also says, "The whole notion that the surge is working is a fantasy". Since there has been no progress, on a political level, the success is temporary.

Biden would've been Secretary of State if Kerry had won. Kerry had already recruited him. Sourced from Joe Biden's book.

It wont matter though with our current partisan controlled primary system. It is a shame that the amount of money one can raise controls how much air time they get despite the value of thier views and policies.
