how many liberals here celebrate Xmas

Jesus was not born on December 25th. Shepherds would not have been grazing their flocks at that time of the year in Bethlehem. The tradition of gifts was a part of the ceremony because the Magi (assumed to be Zoroastrian priests) brought gifts. Best guess is that Jesus was born between May and October (when shepherds would have been in that area grazing) and some year between 4 and 6 BCE.

Well well egg head is repaeting a lie or a myth. Hey, egg you ever work on a farm and raise sheep? I HAVE nasty creatures' pain in the ass to sheer and care for . We used a Australian Shepard to watch them ,
Any way yes you could graze sheep there in December .

Sheep are hearty beast and are well able to withstand the cold , second, they are a bit like goats ,Grasses, plants, legumes, and forbs
Sheep are strict herbivores and primarily eat grasses, plants, legumes, and forbs123. They can survive on pasture grass, especially ryegrass and timothy, throughout the warmer months1. In addition to grass, sheep can eat hay, some vegetables, bark of small trees, shrubs, weeds, pelleted feeds, and grains4. On average, sheep eat around 2-4% of their body weight per day.

Winter holiday is that liberals way of sidelining the truth.

December 25th, Christ born in Bethlehem, Judea. This day, December 25, 336, is the first recorded celebration of Christmas. For the first three hundred years of the church's existence, birthdays were not given much emphasis--not even the birth of Christ.

Xmas has nothing to do with gifts or winter holiday.
The birth date of Roma Emperors was celebrated as holidays. Roman Emperors claimed to be immortal or at least descended from immortal beings. Was "annoying thing" in Judea in the first centuries of Christianity taking notes?
Doubtful!

The first notation of Christians in the world is traditionally dated to the year 301 when Gregory the Illuminator convinced King Tiridates III of Armenia to convert to Christianity1. One of the earliest Christian inscriptions, found in the early 3rd century Vatican necropolis area in Rome, contains the text "fish of the living

1 April 753 BCE
According to legend, Rome was founded by the twin brothers Romulus and Remus on 21 April 753 BCE12. The traditional date for the founding of Rome is also 21 April 753 BC, according to M. Terentius Varro3. Rome began as an Iron Age hut village in the mid-8th century BC4. By the end of the republic, it was generally accepted that Rome had been founded in 753 BCE5.

I'm not sure the purpose of this thread. A lot of democrats are Christians who celebrate Christmas. Blacks and Latinos especially. Some idiots celebrate made up black holidays. I do not believe in any of this tripe so it does not matter to me other than a time to be with family.
