In fact, the effort was led by some 250 federal employees that remained on their agency payrolls.

Gore gave out "Hammer Awards" to government employees—referring to the notorious $600 hammer that the Pentagon had infamously purchased—consisting of a hammer tied with a red ribbon, mounted on a blue velvet background, with words signed by the vice president saying, "Thanks for creating a government that works better and costs less."

Al Gore is far smarter than Musk or Shitshizpants. We'd have been far better off with Al Gore than with Juniorbush. Imagine how much we would have saved by NOT had a war with Iraq and had not killed 200, 000 Iraquis or displaced two thirds of the population. The Iraq War allowed several Syrian groups to get arms and have a Civil War that gave us ISIS. No matter what the abuses of Saddam were, they were far far less than the horrid mess Bush and Cheney's stupid war was.
