‘Looks Like Weimar Germany’: The Viral Photo Out of Connecticut That’s Giving Some Gun Owners Chills

llp.webp

Connecticut gun owners are rushing to register certain firearms and ammunition that will be considered illegal contraband in the new year.

Under a wide-ranging gun control law passed after the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown, they have until Tuesday to submit the paperwork with the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection.

“Holy crap. Looks like Weimar Germany,” Twitter user @votermom said of the photo.

“Another disgusting picture from Connecticut . . .men waiting in line to register guns with the government,” user @chipwoods commented.

“First, they came for the guns,” @PaulRReyes added.

“Life is too short to live in a state that does this to its residents,” Twitter user @lancemfisher declared.

And there are plenty more comments where that came from.

US Hunters

There were over 600,000 hunters this season in the state of Wisconsin ..
Allow me to restate that number: 600,000!

Over the last several months, Wisconsin 's hunters became the eighth largest army in the world.

(That’s more men under arms than in Iran . More than France and Germany combined. )

These men, deployed to the woods of a single American state, Wisconsin, to hunt with firearms, and NO ONE WAS KILLED.

That number pales in comparison to the 750,000 who hunted the woods of Pennsylvania and Michigan's 700,000 hunters, ALL OF WHOM HAVE RETURNED HOME SAFELY.

Toss in a quarter million hunters in West Virginia and it literally establishes the fact that the hunters of those four states alone would comprise the largest army in the world.

And then add in the total number of hunters in the other 46 states. It's millions more.

The point?

America will forever be safe from foreign invasion with that kind of home-grown firepower!

Hunting...it's not just a way to fill the freezer. It's a matter of national security.

That's why all enemies, foreign and domestic, want to see us disarmed.

Chicago gun sale ban unconstitutional, judge rules

A federal judge on Monday overturned Chicago's ban on the sale and transfer of firearms, ruling that the city's ordinances aimed at reducing gun violence are unconstitutional.

U.S. District Judge Edmond E. Chang said in his ruling that while the government has a duty to protect its citizens, it's also obligated to protect constitutional rights, including the right to keep and bear arms for self-defense. However, Chang said he would temporarily stay the effects of his ruling, meaning the ordinances can stand while the city decides whether to appeal.

Timothy Davison Killed In Apparent Road Rage Shooting

A Maine man was shot to death in what police say may have been a road rage-fueled attack.

Timothy "Asti" Davison, 28, was driving north along I-81 in Maryland early Saturday when he called 911, reporting that someone was tailing him in a pickup truck and shooting at him, according to WCSH 6.

The truck smashed into Davison's SUV about three miles north of the Maryland-Pennsylvania border, according to Penn Live, forcing the vehicle off the road. Pennsylvania State Police say after Davison's car was forced off the road, someone got out of the truck and opened fire on Davison.
Davison was wounded when authorities found him, and later died of his injuries at a hospital.

Investigators have no leads as to who the shooter may have been. "We’re just beginning our investigation and we don’t know if there was a history between these two,” Pennsylvania State Trooper Trooper Robert Hicks told the Portland Press Herald.

Davison's father told the Press Herald that his son was returning home to Maine from a trip to Florida, where he was visiting family.

Maryland's Gun control laws DONT WORK! Its not about keeping guns away from Crooks. Its about controlling you to permit you from carrying your gun. Why didn't he stayed in Florida? Its much safer and they have stand on your ground laws.

Illinois Conceal Carry Applications Overwhelmingly Outpace Obamacare Enrollment

On the heels of a federal court striking down Chicago's ban on gun sales, those seeking gun permits in Illinois flooded the State Police website over the weekend to begin the permitting process.

In fact, the amount of Illinois residents seeking a conceal carry permit already surpasses those who enrolled in Obamacare after the first two months of the launch of healthcare.gov. The Chicago Sun-Times reported 4,525 individuals signed up on Sunday alone for their firearms permits, when the State Police first opened the process to all concealed carry applicants.

If the government tells a newspaper that they can publish whenever they want except on leap day (Feb 29 which only occurs every 4 years) has the right of the paper to publish been infringed?
