Good use of American money

I should have been more clear, I did not mean with federal tax money. I mean the Christian childrens fund and other groups like this.

When we are taxed it should be for very limited things like protecting our country and the other things laid out in the constitution.

I think that we might have have some programs like USDA but I think we need reform in them.

I do not want a big government but I do understand why we have some things like the USDA programs like that.

I suspect I would agree with you on the need for things like the USDA. As long as it's purpose is to provide regulation that protects the constitutional rights of Americans (for example the right not to be poisoned by what you buy and eat) and not to provide legislation that shapes the economy of the country in the preferred mode of whatever current politician is in office (for example to shift corn production toward ethanol rather than food production, or to make milk more popular than juice).
